Review and Updation of State Action Plan on Climate Change

The State Action Plan on Climate Change approved by the Ministry of Environment and Forests & Climate Change in 2014 was the prime document to guide the climate actions in the State. However, during that period there was no State specific knowledge or reference document available for developing climate strategy of the State except a few reports and publications for the entire North east region at coarser scale. With the state specific climate change knowledge available, the state action plan on climate change is in the process of revision as per the guidelines of MoEF&CC and climate actions are being prioritised accordingly.
